So, a few weeks back I get the news that my sister-in-law has a lump in her lung. A few short tests and biopsies later she's scheduled for surgery. Today. My brother lives a few hours away so my parents went down to be with my brother in the waiting room. I just got in a few phone calls. Nothing brings it all back like thinking about the waiting room.

She spent half the expected time in the OR. The initial comments about the lump removal are that it went really well. So, at least there's that.
